OUR
TRADITIONAL UPHOLSTERY COURSES
Class members will be instructed in the correct use
of tools, working with fabrics and the techniques of
upholstery. You will be required to provide a small
piece of furniture preferably with coil springs eg small
armchair, bedroom chair, bridge chair etc. Please bring
the furniture in its original condition.
Your teacher could be either of our fully qualified
upholsterers who conduct classes.
Adrian Padgham has over 40 years extensive upholstery
experience and has many years experience in training
apprentices. Adrian's persistance and patience with
apprentices was rewarded when he was the trainer of
Victoria's top upholstery apprentice three years in
a row.
Andrew Turner has been working as an upholsterer since
1983, successfully running his own re-upholstery business
for 19 years in the UK before moving to Australia last
year. Although experienced in all aspects of upholstery
he is particularly passionate about fine fabrics and
re-upholstering antique furniture as close to its original
glory as possible.
